Tips for accommodation in Hoi An

Tips for accommodation in Hoi An
Written by Vietnamtravelplus

With tourism constantly on the rise in Hoi An, more and more accommodation options are popping up. Depending on what it is you are looking for, you should always be able to find the right room for the right budget with a somewhat reasonable location. Very few hotels are actually located inside the Old Town, so most stays will have you walking, biking or driving into the historic part of town.

Budget:

Not many budget hotels appear online, but most are located on Ba Trieu Street off Hai Ba Trung. Walk up this small, jug handle road and pop into all the tall, windowless, concrete buildings advertising as guesthouses and hotels. You should be able to find the right spot for cheap. Rooms go for anywhere between 10-20 USD, depending on how high your mold tolerance is. Bargaining is acceptable in these establishments.

Budget- Mid Range:

Paying the extra 5 dollars or so from the budget option, you can find yourself a reasonably nice hotel in Hoi An. A few constant names in the Budget/Mid Range area are:

Greenfield Hotel: 423 Cua Dai Street. A good location halfway to Cua Dai beach and halfway to the Old Town. (Website: Phone: +84 510 3863 484).

Sunflower Hotel: 397 Cua Dai Street. A few meters down the road from Greenfield, also a good location halfway to the Old Town and halfway to Cua Dai Beach. (Website: Phone: +84 510 3939 838).

Grassland Hotel: 500 Hai Ba Trung Street. Located right after the rice paddies, halfway in between An Bang Beach and the Old Town. (Phone: +84 510 3921 921).

Thanh Binh III: 98 Ba Trieu. Very close (one minute walk) to the Old Town, lots of restaurants and shops surrounding the area. (Website ; Phone: +84-510-3916777).

Homestays/Mid-Range+:

A great option in Hoi An. Many homestays charge only a bit more than mid-range hotels and provide beautiful accommodation. A great local experience.

Betel Garden Homestay: Trần Nhân Tông; (Website; Phone: (+84)510 3924165).

The Earth Villa: 380 Cua Dai Street (Newly Opened) Website; Phone: (+84) 510 3926 777).

Ancient House Resort and Spa: 377 Cua Dai Road. (Website; Phone: 84.510.3923377).

Hoi An Trails Resort and Spa: 276 Cua Dai Street (Website; Phone: +84 (510) 3 923 999).

High End Resorts:

Victoria Resort and Spa: Cua Dai Beach, Âu Cơ, Cửa Đại. (Website; Phone: +84 510 3927 040).

Sunrise Resort and Spa: Cua Dai Beach, Âu Cơ, Cửa Đại (Website; Phone: +84 (0510) 393 7777).

Both the Victoria and Sunrise are located right along Cua Dai beach. They are a bit out of the way from the Old Town, but hotel shuttles carry guests to and from the center all day. A nice getaway in Hoi An with private beach access.

Anantara Resort and Spa: 1 Phạm Hồng Thái, Sơn Phong. This resort is located right in the heart of the Old Town, best for walking into the historic quarter. It has beautiful riverfront views and swimming pools on site. No Beach Access. (Website; Phone: +84 510 3914 555).

Top End – The Nam Hai: By far Hoi An’s most luxurious resort. Located on the road between Hoi An and Da Nang, this resort is literally in a world of its own. With villas, pools, beach access, restaurants and spas all on site, the Nam Hai has everything you need. You are certainly paying the price for comfort here, but if you’re looking for the best of the best, the Nam Hai is it. A provided shuttle brings guests into and out of Hoi An town (about a ten minute drive from the resort). (Website; Phone: +84 510940000)
