Vietnam has been proudly named among the 40 Most Beautiful Countries in the World for 2024, as recently announced by the American magazine US News & World Report.
Based on opinions from over 17,000 travelers worldwide and insights from seasoned experts, US News & World Report scored each country on a 100-point scale.
Vietnam ranked 36th, excelling in categories such as delicious cuisine (63.7 points), distinctive appeal (64.3 points), rich history (48 points), stunning natural scenery (45.2 points), and friendliness (43.8 points).
“The Đổi Mới reforms since 1986 have transformed Vietnam into a modern nation with increasing global competitiveness,” noted the magazine, which has been in publication since 1933.
Additionally, Vietnam was featured in the overall ranking of the Best Countries in the World, securing the 44th position, and appeared on the list of Best Countries for Adventure Travel.
This year, Greece topped the Most Beautiful Countries in the World ranking by US News & World Report.
